Director of Finance and Resources

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum. Full time.

The Director of Finance and Resources is a member of the Executive Team of the charity and will lead the strategic development of the finance and resources function in Oasis Aquila Housing to deliver high quality internal support services to the rest of the organisation. The role will provide leadership to a fast paced, dynamic charity by building and strengthening finance and resources systems that are fit for purpose and by ensuring appropriate analysis is provided to support the next stage of Oasis Aquila Housing’s growth.

Senior Support Worker – No.3, Southwark, London

Salary: £20,334 – £21,624 per annum (+ London Weighting of £2,950 per annum and sleepover allowance). Full time, on 4 week rolling rota; fixed term contract until 30 September 2018 with a view to extending; funding dependent.

Become a Trustee of Oasis Aquila Housing
This is your chance to help shape and support the strategic direction of an exceptionally dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those whom they serve.  Oasis Aquila Housing (OAH) responds to homelessness and disadvantage providing housing, support and other specialised services. For over 30 years the Oasis movement has been working across England and the world to transform communities so that everyone is included, belongs, and has what they need to fulfil their God-given potential.

The support OAH provides aims to develop life skills that will enable the young people we house to live successful, independent lives. Our projects operate in Gateshead and London, with plans for the expansion of our work across England. Board meetings are normally held at our Central Office in Gateshead, which is easily accessible from central Newcastle.

We are looking to recruit 2-3 Trustees to our small but influential & dynamic Board. Candidates should be passionate about our story, social housing and eradicating homelessness. We are particularly interested in candidates who may have expertise in one or more of the following fields:

  • Accountancy & financial management
  • Legal expertise
  • Theological training
  • Experience in the housing sector
  • Experience in the business sector
